Cosy up this Winter at The Pines

Every season has its must-have wardrobe items, and in winter on the Gold Coast, it’s all about layers as our days can be warm and our nights cool. Considering we’re also social distancing and have been isolating at home, it’s no surprise that cosy, comfortable loungewear is one of the biggest hits this winter.

You can shop all kinds of styles. Here are our winter wardrobe essentials for all occasions.

Casual

Ally Fashion have introduced a great range of lounge wear in soft textures that will keep you warm, stylish and comfortable through the cooler months. From the hottest prints to trending colours their new arrivals will keep you looking fresh and cosy.

Knitwear

You’ll be seeing deep rich colours everywhere this winter. They suit just about everyone. Great on dark skin and pale skin, they look fab on blondes and gorgeous on brunettes. Plus, it’s such a nice change from the winter staple, black. Rodney Clark has leapt into the depths of winter with a range of gorgeous knitwear. Check out the Chelsea Vest from Hammock & Vine.

Dressing up

Just because it is cold outside and you’re social distancing, doesn’t mean you can’t wear a dress. There are plenty with long sleeves and a midi-length hemline at Sabah Lifestyle. Why not pop the dress on over some leggings for added warmth.

Footwear

When you live on the Gold Coast it can be tricky deciding what to wear on your feet in winter. Boots make a no-brainer choice in the chilly months, deciding what type of the vast selection of styles and trends can feel overwhelming. You want to keep your feet, ankles and legs warm, but it isn’t cold enough for anything too hot. Bare Traps and Williams offer a great range of Boots which can be surprisingly versatile when it comes to styling.

Accessories

The scarf is a chic and effortless addition to any outfit! There are countless ways to style this cold weather accessory, either thrown carelessly over your shoulder or wrapped around multiple times.  Just ask Dinah and Sharon at Change Alley who are only too happy to assist with colours and styles.
