The Pines Response to COVID-19
The situation is changing rapidly. Stay up to date with the latest information and the steps we are taking.
The Pines Elanora Shopping Centre continues to play an essential role in our community, providing you with access to your essential shopping needs, along with your everyday products and services. There is community concern about (COVID-19) Coronavirus and public spaces, and we are proactively taking measures to ensure we continue to be a safe place to visit, work and enjoy. Please note that the Government ban on large gatherings does not apply to shopping centres.
The health, safety and well-being of our customers, retailers, staff and community is always our highest priority. In addition to our standard practices, we’ve proactively introduced the following precautionary measures, to ensure you can visit us with confidence. We have increased cleaning schedules of high contact surface points, including amenities, food seating area, handles and rails and other touch points around the centre. We have introduced signage throughout the centre and in all of our amenities to remind people to ‘know the signs’ and ‘stop the spread’ of COVID-19 Coronavirus. This is to actively encourage the practice of good hygiene and preventative measures that each of us can take to help keep our community safe.
We have introduced social distancing in the centre management office, so that we keep our team safe.
We want to assure our customers and community that we are monitoring and acting on current and future government and relevant health authority’s advice. For additional information please visit HEALTH.GOV.AU
We will continue to keep you updated on a regular basis about how we are responding to Coronavirus through Facebook, eNews and our website.
We would like to thank you for your continued support during this time and look forward to seeing you soon.
Remember some of our stores are open early for seniors and those with a disability in our community, please respect this provision.
