Biltong Corporation are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our specialty Biltong store at The Pines Elanora.

This is a Casual/ Part-time role, with the opportunity to progress to full-time for the right person.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys Biltong, has an interest in South African food and culture, or has experience working with meat or specialty food products (not essential).

Product knowledge is essential; training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing procedures, cash handling and EFTPOS transactions.
• Supporting all day-to-day retail and food operations and providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
• Explaining Biltong varieties, cuts, flavours and preparation methods to customers.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards across preparation areas, equipment and retail spaces.
• Food handline, Deli, Butcher or meat preparation (experience not essential, training provided).
• Availability across weekdays and weekends preferred.
